Nokia has unveiled its latest Windows 8 smartphone, which is the Lumia 620. It is a realtivey low priced Windows 8 phone and comes with a price tag of $249. Having recent failures of Nokia with windows phone time will tell how this phone will perform in the smartphone market which is now ruled by Android Smartphones.

Nokia Lumia 620 will be powered by a 1GHz dual core Snapdragon S4 processor with 512MB of RAM. It will have a 3.8-inch ClearBlack WVGA display and a 5-megapixel camera. The internal storage will be of 8 GB and you expand this internal memory to 64GB by using microSD card. Connectivity features include WiFi a/b/g/n (2.4GHz and 5GHz), NFC, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS/A-GPS/Glonass, microUSB. A front camera is also given for making video calls. A 1300 mAh battery is used to power the device and it offers upto 14.6 hrs GSM talktime or 330 hours of stand-by time. The phone weighs 127 grams having dimensions 115.4 x 61.1 x 11.02 mm. The main disappointment is that it will not have PureView functionality.
It will use a new “Dual Shot” polycarbonate technique that layers different hues together. There are two layers of polycarbonate, a single base layer and on top will be a translucent or transparent layer (casings) of different colors that can changed anytime by you. The phone will be available in refreshing colors like lime green, yellow and cyan. The company said that its big selling points will be its price and its colors. Nokia Lumia 620 will hit the market in the first quarter of 2013.
