BioShock Infinite release date delayed

BioShock Infinite release date has been delayed and pushed to February 26, 2013 by the developers. It was scheduled for October 2012 but later on its developers, Irrational Games felt that it needed more time and money to complete the game and then launch it. The developers also said that they need to tweak the game a bit more than it was in early stages of development.

Ken Levine, creative director of Irrational Games said that “”When we announced the release date of BioShock Infinite in March, we felt pretty good about the timing. Since then, we’ve uncovered opportunities to make Infinite into something even more extraordinary. Therefore, to give our talented team the time they need to deliver the best Infinite possible, we’ve decided to move the game’s release to February.”

Bioshock Infinite is a first person shooter video game and is previously known as “Project Icarus”. It is the third installment in the Bioshock series. It is developed by Irrational Games and will be available for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms. It has won more than 75 awards at E3 in 2011, which also includes the Game Critics Awards’ Best of Show. The Bioshock Franchise has sold over 90 million units worldwide.

The Story of BioShock Infinite will take place in the floating sky-city of Columbia, which is an alternative, fictional version of America in 1912. It will feature special agent Booker DeWitt and his companion, Elizabeth, as they battle against new enemies in order to escape from the hell of Columbia.

No matter how much time BioShock will take in development but when it will come out, one thing is guaranteed that it will be a very beautiful game, all in terms of graphics, sound, story and gameplay.
