Asus latest tablet Transformer Pad 300 coming this April

Asus is ready to launch its latest Asus Transformer Pad 300 tablet in April 2012. The new tablet is the successor of the Transformer Prime tablet. The pre-orders of the tablet have already begun at $399 but the actual price of the tablet is not confirmed yet. Transformer Pad 300 can serve as a laptop replacement and it is equipped with 4G LTE network capabilities.

Asus Transformer Pad 300 is powered by a Quad Core Tegra 3 processor from nvidia. It has 10.1-inch display with resolution of 1280×800 pixels. The battery life of Asus Transformer Pad 300 is 10 hours which can be extended to 15 hours with an additional battery in an optional keyboard dock. The tablet can be transformed into a fully functional laptop with the help of this keyboard dock. Internal storage of the tablet will be either 16GB or 32GB and it will have 1GB of RAM. The tablet has a 1.2 MP front camera for video chats and a whopping 8 MP camera on the rear. A micro HDMI port is also provided to connect the laptop to TVs and a microSD card slot to expand the storage capacity of the tablet. It will run Android 4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) as operating system. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi, 3G and 4 LTE.
